We have seen that positive self-talk is so important. Now it is time to learn some ways to start using it in your own life.


There are four methods of doing this and they all work. Pick the one that works best for you.


The Four Methods Of Using Self Talk To Program Your Mind For Success:

  1. Positive Silent Self Talk – silently speaking positive thoughts to yourself. This one is the most convenient in many ways because you can do it anywhere.
  2. Positive Self-Speak – speaking out loud to yourself in a positive way. Professional athletes do this all the time.
  3. Positive Self-Conversation – This is actually having a positive conversation with yourself out loud. Some professional athletes like this method.
  4. Recorded Positive Self-Talk – this one is great because you can use it while you are doing something else. Record yourself saying positive things about yourself and listen to it in the background. Your subconscious mind will pick it up!

The Three Step Process For Mastering Positive Self-Talk:

MONITOR – Always be aware of your words and thoughts and what you are saying to yourself. This needs to be a habit and something you always do.

EDIT – When you catch yourself using the wrong kind of self-talk, immediately edit the message and turn it in to something positive.

LISTEN – LISTENING TO POSITIVE SELF TALK IS ONE OF THE MOST EFFECTIVE MEANS OF CHANGING YOUR MENTAL PROGRAMMING. Play positive messages in the background while you work on other things
